Hi Ladies (and gentlemen)..it's been awhile.

I've tried smashbox, Sephora, all the big names in makeup for HD foundation and after awhile...they'd separate

Like oil and vinegar do. YUCK!

I tried drugstore foundations and they don't do that, but their coverage isn't as good.

Make Up Forever has some and for us older ladies...would anyone recommend this? I need something that covers well (age spots), but yet is still moisturizing.

Any suggestions?

Also, the best smokey eye palettes....what works for you as far as color and not creasing or wearing off?

Thank you!!

I'm 46 and I swear by Revlon Colorstay foundation and concealer.

I have yet to find any eye makeup that won't smear though.

Covergirl Professional Waterproof mascara does not smear - good rec!

I'm 42 and I'm currently wearing Everyday Mineral in Matte. I make my own mmu but its summer, I've tanned and I've been too lazy to re-tint. It has good coverage, I apply it with a damp brush which gives it more coverage off the bat. Being Chinese, smokey eye and I are not really good friends. A good e/s primer will help with the wearing off and creasing.

I can only say good things about the Makeup Forever HD foundation. I´ve had my bottle for over 2 years (I alternate between foundations, so I never run out of foundation lol), and it hasn´t seperated. In fact, none of my foundations have ever done this

It´s medium, satin-look coverage. Looks very natural, and the coverage is quite buildable. I would highly recommend getting a sample!
