Is it messy? Will it get streaky?

I'm going on vacation soon, and I want to get a base tan and I won't go in a tanning bed.....

I have done the mystic booth tan, it turned out perfect, not streaky except for my hands were kind of funky and peeled....definately exfoliate and MOISTURIZE your hands! I think it might have just been the fact that I wash my hands hundreds of times a day, but I'm not sure

ANyone else have issues with this?

i spray tanned before my wedding. it looked great! be sure to watch the video so that you know how to stand so you dont get crease marks!

I've been spray tanned stacks of times, in those booths and by someone actually spraying me. I also do spraying tanning myself at work. It gives a really good even colour and generally no streaking. Just make sure you keep your fingers seperated when you get it done, otherwise your hands are brown but the skin between the fingers is white!

Like the other girls said, make sure you exfoliate before hand, and make sure not to have any moisturiser or deodorant on, on the day you are getting the tan, otherwise the tan won't apply properly. Also, wear loose dark clothing afterwoods, you won't be able to shower for 24 hours, or til the next day, the tan still develops after you have it done.

Spray tans can look a bit icky and uneven the day you get it, but once you have showered the next day it looks perfect.

My daughter did before her wedding and she looked awesome!! No streaking and very natural looking against her white dress.

I tried it. I got really dark after a few days and loved it. The only part I didn't like was the scary experience with me being sprayed by cold liquids and closing my eyes. The sound of the spray machines scared the heck outta me. =[

I just went today and the girl knew it was my first time so she explained everything(they didn't have the video) and told me to stop at the counter to tell her how I liked it: when I stopped up there I told her I didn't like it but I think it's just because I wasn't use to it and plus after I toweled off I saw that my legs were streaky however I do like the results for the most part. I also noticed that on my upper back there's some blotching but I think it may be due to not blotting enough. I did the mystic tanning today b/c I'm going out this weekend and wanted somewhat of a color...I know I'm startin regular tanning this week but I think I'm also going to try the mystic tan once more. (they do suggest tanning before getting the mystic tan a lil FYI)

For those of you that have gone before: do you think applyin lotion to my legs would maybe prevent me from streaking?

i went spray tanning in a both once and i loved it

i am super super pale and it didnt look orengy at all on me.

and for me it wasnt streaky at all (after they spray you wipe off the excess to make sure it does not get streaky)

I've done it, and it worked great! Make sure to get a little base tan before you do it, so that it looks a little more natural. And pay attention to the video so it goes on evenly. The only bad thing is after a week it starts to come off, and you end up having pale spots.

i LOVE mystic tan...i second the watch the video rec. also put lotion on ur hands and feet and elbows and also bring a baby wipe and after you get out and you have toweled off ( rub urself down using small circular motions) take the baby wipe and wipe between ur fingers and toes.... dont want dark color there... also if you are pale like me get the lighter one... the guy tried to ge me to get a darker one and my friend had already warned me im glad I didnt!

I've done the mystic tan at West Palm Beach tanning salon and I didn't like it. It was streaky and the color was horrible! I was orange yuck! You are better off getting someone to spray you but make sure its the tan color that compliments your skin tone.
