hey, I was just wondering if anyone had used St. Tropez self-tanner. I like something that makes me very dark. I'm going to need something for Fall once my tan fades. I read good reviews on amazon.com about this brand.

Sorry, I haven't tried it myself. Have you checked the review center here on MuT? If there aren't any, I'd go for it! At least you know Amazon.com has good reviews on it

St. Tropez is a brand I want to try myself. My legs are so pale compared to the rest of my body, plus I have a few stretchmarks I'd like to cover up.

Well, I guess it can't hurt. I guess I'll try it out....I'll let everyone know how it comes out.

I have the St Tropez mousse and it gives a very nice, dark color and doesn't have a lingering stench like most self tanners do. I've never had a problem with it streaking either. I give it 2 thumbs up and an around the world.

Yep, I have the mousse... You need to be careful when applying it (but what self-tanner don't you I guess?) and you need gloves because it staaaains! but the colour is by far the best and longest staying I've come across! Beautiful brown!

I've tried it and it is quite good, I also have some Avon Self tan foam mousse thing in Medium/Dark and it works really well, just as good as the St Tropez one! I find that unless I use a mitt or some gloves that my hands get stained a purply colour though (which is what I find with the St Tropez and the Avon - they're similar formulas I think!) The Avon one doesnt smell really bad either.

Well all i can say is that i will have to write some reviews on St Tropez! I have the mouse and the auto bronzant along with the body mosituriser, body polisher etc, and am at this moment covered head to toe in St Tropez lotion. I have owned this range for a while and always meant to use it, i decided that now was the time.I have prepared my skin in the usual way, tomorow morning i will wash it off and hope that my tan is streakless as promised by St Tropez. I did find it tricky applying to my back and i wasn't to sure about the latex gloves for application.I felt that they caused the product to streak, so finger's crossed!

Saying that though i do love the rich dark tan that St Tropez gives.

I was actually specifically wondering about the auto-bronzant since that's what says is the darkest one on Amazon. Has anyone tried this?

Has anyone tried this? by auto bronzant do you mean the lotion? if so ive used it and i found it the least easiest to use, though i would say it is definatly the darkest.ive used the lotion mousse and the spray and i by far prefer the spray, so easy to use and it gives the nicest result, slighty lighter than the lotion and mousse, though you can use additional applications. xxx

Ive had a st tropez tan applied professionally which came out great, but i wouldnt buy the stuff myself and do it at home. You can get some really good tanners for half the price which work maybe even better. I would recommend L'oreal's sublime air mist spray, it works the same way as the st.tropez in the salon is used you just hold the can at a distance and spray the mist onto your body..comes out great.

Friends have use st tropez at home and still come out in patches, but that could have just been them lol
