I wasn't sure if this should go in "Health and Fitness" or "Skin Care" so feel free Mods to move it!!
Anyway, and I hope this isn't too much info, but yesterday, my son did #2 and it leaked out of his diaper and all over his crib. I know, gross!! (Being a mom is great! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> ). Anyway, I spent half the day cleaning up that mess which meant washing my hands probably 20 times. I also washed clothes and washed a lot of dishes. Add the cold dry weather to that, and today I noticed a burning red rash on the tops of my hands, concentrated in the knuckle area. The rash is all over both hands, but most of it is around my knuckles. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows what I should do to help this. Should I just keep lotion on it and try to avoid contact with irritating soaps for the next few days? (And that will be really difficult being a SAHM!) Should I be concerned? I can't see a doctor unless it's critical because I don't have health insurance, so I was wondering if I could get some advice here. Any suggestions are appreciated!! Thank you ladies!! :icon_smil
