There are so many hairsprays out there that it's hard to weed out the bad ones, especially since we all have different hair texture. Does anybody have any hairsprays that really did no good whatsoever to their hair, meaning like 1 or 2 stars.

I don't recommend

Garnier Fructis Full control Anti-humidity- It's the green and purple one. This hairspray was really advertised as holding a style all day. Negative. My hair just turned into a crunchy brillow pad mess. The worst part is the smell, it's horrendous. I felt sick and light headed when I used it. Will not purchase again. My friend likes it to keep her updo's in place, so I gave it to her.

Samy Volumizing hairspray- The red can. Worst hairspray ever, no good things about it. Smells terrible and leaves my hair so hard. I used this for maybe 3 days, and went to the hairdresser for a trim on the third and she asked what was in my hair, because it was so heavily coated, that my hair was breaking off. She them immediately went to wash it. I don't recommend this to anybody, stay away!

I've never tried either of those....

I've used many hairsprays in my time due to my profession...

Faves:

Kenra 25 volumizing hair spray

Kenra 9 Design spray (great for flat ironing with as its a light hold, anti humectant and heat resistant)

Sebastian Shaper and Shaper Plus

Rusk Being Sexy

Morracan Oil Hairspray

Ones I hated:

Matrix Vavoom Design Pulse Spray - too chruncy no matter how little is used

JoiFix Firm - you want hair thats lacquered to your head, buy this one.

Sebastian Shaper Fierce - would love it but everytime i try a can the nozzle is clogged

I'm not a big fan of anything john frieda. Actually what works for me is the 24 hour volume from treseme

I have been using that for awhile now. Although, I recently tried Elnett, and I LOVE it! It is perfect for my bangs. It's hard to find a hairspray that holds well without being sticky or greasy looking. Elnett is my HG of hairsprays now.
I can't really remember any crappy hairsprays..I am sure I have used some in my day though.

Clairol, never again.

I`m in love with Fudge Membrane Gas

I hate all Suave hair Sprays they just never work good on my hair

But Than Again Every Hair Spray is bAD Compared to Aqua Net IMO I love Aqua net!!

Garnier Fructis (can't remember which one), the only thing i liked about it was probably the smell, although it quickly goes to your head so not so good.

Timotei hairsprays, it's glue in a bottle.

Any volumising mousse from l'oreal and Pantene, they work the first time, then starts the build up and the greasy roots.

The only hairspray i trust (i'd buy it blindfolded) and recommend is Elnett, but get the small bottle, the big one saves money but it's too heavy.
