How often do you get your hair cut/dyed? I get mine cut every 1 1/2-2 months, and highlighted every 3 months. Do you keep the same hairstyle for long or do you like changing it?

i get cut/color every 2 months. I try to mix up my cut a bit, but I have very long hair and want to keep it so I am a little limited. I have been getting lots of layers the last few times.

for color, I got highlights in the summer, but this last time I got red. I LOVE it.

i cut my hair whenever i want a change...(am thinking of getting a new hair cut now, just cut it last month)

For about 22 yrs I kept my hair WELL below the middle of my back...but in Feb I decided to lose my mind and cut it short... Nevertheless I LOVE it short, but I am missing it long now, so I am growing it out. It is already below my shoulders when it is straight! YAY!

But I usually get my hair cut every 2-3 mos. When I used to get it highlighted I would go every 8 weeks or so bc I HATE it when my roots grow out. Now I dyed over the highlights so I don't color it anymore... I probably will get my highlights back eventually though, they looked awesome...

i dont cut it very often as i cant really afford it. usually a couple of times a year. i used to cut it only about once or max twice a year but that was when i was growing it and i didnt want the length to be shorter. now however i have it above my ****s, so i think im going to maintain this length, which means ill have to get it cut more often, especially since i have a fringe now too. i used to straighten my hair all the time until recently, so my style has changed, but i always stick to long hair with layers one way or another. the side bangs are new though /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I always wait too long before I get mine cut. Like it gets to a point where I just can't stand it anymore. silly girl~

Haven't highlighted it in quite a while but it seems to be getting nice highlights on it's own. Yay!

I usually stick with the same length but this last time I got I cut short and I love it!! I have gotten so many complements on my hair since I got it done. The stylist was new to me, but she is now my HG! :clap

I get trims every 4-6 weeks... about 1/4-1/2" and a trim also on the angles and layers. I haven't dyed it in about a year...

I get a trim every three months and I get hightlights every 6 months. I don't really have a "root" problem, do your hairdressers use foil? I think that's the only I would have my hairdresser use, the look is so natural.

Yeah... foils are much more natural looking than a cap, because you can determine the thickness and amount of the lightened hair. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes he uses foils... I can't stand that darn cap!! Honestly I don't think it is a hugely visible issue when my highlights have grown out, I am just WAY too much of a perfectionist for my own good!!

I don't dye my hair, but I normally get it trimmed every 4-6 weeks to keep it at the same length.... However now I'm growing out my hair a little so I haven't trimmed it in quite a while -- I don't have much of a problem with split ends so I'm not always that good about getting it trimmed when I grow it out, even though I know you're supposed to still trim it every 2-3 months! :icon_redf

I cut my hair every month or two depends on how damaged the ends look and feel. I have fine hair so it gets damaged easily. Color my hair every 4-6 weeks because of regrowth and a few grays.
