I'm going tomorrow at 3:30 to get my hair cut. It's at bra strap length right now. I'll probably get about an inch to an inch and a half taken off. What are some pictures of celebrities, or anyone for that matter, that have really sleek straight smooth hair? My stylist always wants to make me have big sexy hair, and thats fine, but I want a sleeker look for my date tomorrow night. TIA

Yes! Post pics if you can! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The key to getting smooth hair is using the right amount/type of product. You don't want too little, or else the sleekness won't stay all night.. and you don't want too much or it'll look dirty. If you want really straight hair... dry it totally straight with a blow dryer, then go over it with the flat iron & a sealing spray. (I like StraightSexyHair Smooth & Seal) Have fun on your date! :icon_chee

I have naturally wavy hair and the only way I can get it smooth and sleek is with a flat iron! I tried blowdrying it for years and just recently bought a flat iron, and WOW, my hair has never been this straight and shiny!

For products, right now I am using L'Oreal's Hot Straight (in their Studio Line -- a bright pink bottle) and am loving it! It protects my hair from the heat and acts as a great anti-frizz product (something I really need with my fine, fly-away hair!) even though it doesn't claim to be an anti-frizz product! Works better than the much more expensive Straight Sexy Hair products I've tried, the Power Straight balm and the Smooth and Seal spray! (Sorry Janelle!) :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I decided to get 2 inches cut off, to remove all the white dots. (gosh I hate those stupid things)

GirlGeek, I bought the L'Oreal Straightening Cream the other day. I love that stuff. It makes my hair super soft!

Sorry I look drunk...I swear I'm not!

Wow, your hair even looks soft! Is it naturally straight or do you blowdry or flat iron it? I love those layers around your face! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

We ended up not going out, because my throat was really sore, and I could barely talk. I have to blow dry my hair to give it some volume, and then I run a flat iron over it to smooth it out. I feels so short today.
