Wow! That was a really cool tutorial, very creative way to curl your hair, and it looks great!

Amazing! Im going to have to give this a try tonight! My hair is pretty layered though...not sure how that'll translate!

Thanks for posting :)

I've seen this before on a natural haircare site.

But I remember my cousin saving toilet paper rolls and straws and bobby pins to curl her hair with. It looked cool!

thanks for sharing! her curls look so flowy & pretty! i'll definately try it sometime.

well ladies... I tried it... you either need hair that already has a bit of a wave, OR, you need to do it wet, AFTER you've used a lot of styling mousse/curling product is my guess.

I did it in my hair bone dry, and used hair spray... it was barely curly at all. So, those of you with totally utterly straight hair will not really get the results that she gets in the video.

Here are the results in my hair:

hey pink u maybe right the girl in the tutorials hair was naturally wavy she said maybe the hair needs a little kink to work...but your hair came out nice though i like ur hair

I like your hair Rosie !! (I think i told you before, but i like your hair color as well).

The actually teach you this method in school, called pin curls. Except we use lil one prong metal clips rather than bobby pins, but I've used the bobby pins before too. Ussually when I've done it I start with hair that's slightly damp with a bit of setting lotion in it. If I do pin curls on dry hair they will not work as well and will have no staying power, plus its easier to mold damp hair then dry hair. I especially recommend it with damp hair for girls who have thick straight hair, do it at night and let them dry while you sleep.

Hey girls my go to hairstyle is curlying my straight hair and its super easy to do and lasts e until my next hair wash! Let me know if this helps !
