I used to take Biotin daily but ran out. My nails became stronger within a month's time. My hair experienced less breakage and thinning with a 2-3 month period. This is with taking it consistently, daily, for close to 6 months. I recently ordered some more, so I hope to have those same results once I resume taking it.

Not positive if it really is the vitamins or pregnancy itself, but I have heard that prenatal vitamins do something for hair and nails.

I also take prenatal pills and fish oil. Those seem to make a difference also.

I have been looking for a new hairspray that works well, i used to use Targets brand "Umberto" then one day they decided to raise the price $3 for the same bottle. I loved that hairspray but I haven't boughten it again since then. I have done Dove, Elnett I am using now (it's way to sticky), Pantene or Treseme are not my favorites. I always go back to Dove but am ready for something else.

I did recently buy a bottle of Pure Argon Oil and I LOVE it. Smells wonderful and i use it for my face, hands and any place I feel needs a little extra moisture.

I have been using Omega 3 fish oils for years and they are amazing my hair is strong long and healthy !!!

Nutritionists say eating certain foods that contain the right vitamins and minerals, means you are also feeding your skin, hair and nails. Missing out on just a few nutrients every day can have a dramatic impact on your appearance.

Vitamin A - found in dried apricots and dairy products - is essential for replenishing your skin cells. Essential fatty acids - found in oily fish and nuts - are vital for healthy hair, and a lack of zinc - found in red meat - can mean weak nails and dry skin.

I wanted to update you ladies on a supplement I saw advertised on FB, fish collagen. So far it was been great. Nails are long and strong. My hair is silkier and more shiny. I haven't even been wearing foundation and I always wear foundation (Kat Von D) because I love the coverage. I recommend trying it!
