So I have very long unruly arm hair that is very noticeable against my paper white skin. I feel so uncomfortable when my arms are hairy so I have been waxing them for about 5 years now. Problem is, the hair starts to grow back in as little as 1 week so waxing has become way too expensive and time consuming (i do my own by the way and buying the wax myself is cheaper than going to the salon but the cost still adds up when I have to buy a new jar so often). I have also tried laser hair removal at a medical spa but after a few unsuccessful treatments I was told that the hair is just too light in colour for the laser to work (i have darker hair under my arms and the laser worked perfectly). Therefore, I am in search of other options since the sunmmer is coming up and I need to be hair free on my arms and do not have the time nor the money to keep waxing. Obviously I don't want to shave either since I can't do that every single day (i already hate shaving my legs every single day). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I have hairy arms too.. For obvious reasons.. Lol And I wax but mainly I use an epilator.. Braun silk epi. And when I don't epilate. I bleach my arm hair so its almost imvisible. Using cheap bonde air color. Works well for me..

Its like waxing only slower. Like a shaver that plucks the hair so it takes longer than waxing. But you can do it at your own speed.. I bought mine at Target for like $45... Maybe $50.. And it plugs in.. So not batteries. There are cheaper versions but I have worn them out so braun is a good name. And it is painful at first. But I get used to it. And once you buy it there aree no further costs..

I have really hair arms too but scared to remove the hair so I just bleach it. Maybe you can continue to wax and in between just bleach it. That epilator sounds interesting though........ I kind of want to try it

I would just bleach the hairs. It's painless, less expensive and easy to do at home. You can buy plenty of bleach kits made specifically for body or facial hair.

i do the same like Karren.

iam using the epilator several times, but it hurts

I'm lucky in that my hair doesn't start growing back for 3 to 4 weeks... And every time I epilate it comes in thinner and finer.. Eventially you may want to look into laser.. There's a home laser system but it only works on certain hair colors and types and is like $600

Chaeli just got one so you could as her about it... https://forum.makeuptalk.com/f95...ly-102812.html

Hmmmmm.... Threading and waxing and epilating all do the same thing... and you can't thread your arms since you need to use both hands? Threading is typically done on your face.....
