I am basically a hair product junkie. My mom says I have a problem, Lol.
Anyways, I've been looking at some products and I've found some that do basically the same thing (from different brands) and so I'm not sure which to go for. This may be a long post so I apologize.
I have damaged, frizzy, bra-snap length hair that is naturally brown, but I've been heavily highlighting it. I frequently flat iron, and rarely curl it. It was permed a year ago. This past year I have went crazy on repairing my hair and it's so much healthier than it used to be. In a week or two I'm going to quit the bleaching. I'm going a bit darker than my natural brown color and getting some dark caramel-like in there too.
JOICO Split End Mender or Beyond The Zone Split Mender? While I know you can't fix your dead ends except by a trim, but anything to make them less horrible is worth the money for me.
CHI Keratin Mist or Label M Protein Spray? I'm currently using the CHI Keratin Mist but I'm not sure if I want to repurchase so do any of you like Label M's protein spray over CHI's?
Bedhead Masterpiece hairspray or Beyond The Zone Final Take? The BTZ spray also gives shine (or so I've read). Both have good reviews.
Redken Anti-Snap leave in conditioner or Bedhead Superstar volumizing leave-in? I'm leaning toward Redken's but I really would like another opinion.
Bedhead Headrush shine spray or Bedhead Brunette Goddess shine spray?
Beyond The Zone Smooth Criminal Thermo Protect spray or Redken 22 hot tool protection? I'm not sure if I'm right on the Redken product's name, but its in a red bottle with "22" in big black lettering.
I've found four deep conditioners/treatments. Bedhead Treat Me Right, John Frieda Full Repair Full Body, Its A 10 Deep Conditioner, Moroccan Oil Hydrating Mask.
Currently I'm using Matrix Biolage Ultra-Hydrating shampoo and Bedhead Self-Absorbed conditioner. I'm only just using up the Biolage shampoo because I want to use a Bedhead shampoo. I really like the Self-Absorbed conditioner. Do any of you prefer Bedhead's Brunette Goddess pair over Self-Absorbed?
Thank you for all of your help! And for reading this ridiculously long post! I'm also new to Makeup Talk. Your opinions on the products I'm considering would be greatly appreciated.
