I have thin, fine hair.  It does not frizz, it does not have any natural curl - it can get flat very easy.  I bought a hairdryer a while back that happened to have ionic technology.  I used it once and hated it.  My hair was very, very flat after using it.  It was then that I looked into what ionic technoloty was and found it was for frizz.  It obviously just made my hair flatter.  My older dryer is dying and I feel it is getting dangerous to use it.  But all I can find for sale now are hairdryers with ionic technology.  Can anyone tell me where to find a hair dryer with at least 2 heat settings and at least 2 power settings that DOES NOT have ionic technology.  Any recommendations?

There is a reason why most professional dryers nowadays are ionic.  Mine is a Salon Series Ultralight Professional Ionic Hair Dryer.  Recommended to me by my hairdresser.  After reading the blog by sugarsocialbeauty.com/karmin-salon-series-ultralight-professional-ionic-hairdryer/  I understood why.   I have short hair (very thick) and my old hair dryer used to take 20 mins to dry now thanks to my Ultralight it is down to approximately 7 minutes, depending on how straight I want it.
