First of all I know people frown on the use of box hair dye.
Second, I am looking for some advice.
Last night I colored my hair at home, with a box (well, two. I have a lot of hair) of Revlon Hair Dye. I forget the name or number of the color, but that's really not the point. I took my medium brown (with red undertones) hair to a golden blonde. Well, it's a bit more strawberry than I'd like. I didn't get the warm or cool version of the color, but got the "Natural" one, which promised to hold the proper undertones to your hair. Well, it did.
Long story short - how soon would it be okay to hit a salon to have it lightened a touch more and get rid of the red shadow?
Also, can they lighten it? I know it's hard to bleach over darker hair (I dyed my hair black once and they couldn't remove the color even with the strongest of bleach), but can they lighten if I lightened?
Thanks guys and girls.
