Had my second facial at a beauty parlour today. It was a one hour facial with a shoulder and face massage, plucking of eyebrows, steam on the face and lots of creams. It felt really nice. Do you guys often have facials at beauty salons?

I also got my first eyecream, and the beautician recommended to get a serum since it's getting colder and my skin is pretty sensitive. I got this Être Belle Time control system Anti-irritation serum. These were pretty expensive so I hope they do something good! Here are the descriptions:

Anti-Irritation Serum

A smoothing, and soothing, 2-phase serum for skin that is itchy, under stress or inclined to reddening. Active ingredients such as white tea, sand thorn oil, sun flower oil, and extract of rice bran oil soothe the skin, and stimulate the microcirculation - thus making reddening and swelling fade away. The skin’s natural hydro-lipid balance is redressed. Soya peptides reduce delicate lines and folds, and protect the skin from free radicles. Even gives very dry and flaking skin a soft, velvety feel. Shake before use. Apply morning and evening to cleansed skin, and pat gently into it. If required apply the appropriate day or night care product on top.

Eye contour cream

(Crème Contour des Yeux)This acts as a preventive and normalising treatment for wrinkles in the very sensitive area around the eyes. It increases the elasticity and tension of the skin. For the best results, apply it every morning and evening by patting in the effected area lightly.

That sounds very nice and relaxing

I love my Aveda one hour facials....GOD...I could do that everyday...Im gonna ask for a spa package for my bday

I am glad you enjoyed your facial. I am SO jealous. Keep us posted on how you like the products.

Yeah it feels softer and cleaner now. I tried the serum and eyecream I bought just now and it reduced some redness on my cheeks and around my eyebrows which has always been a problem. Had to take a pic with my camera phone so this isn't a good pic:

Thats great! When I get a facial, I will only let an Aesthetician do it....but I think at a Salon, this is who they have do their facials. Other than that....yes I love facials.

Your face looks very nice and fresh!! I usually get facial twice a year. It always make me feel so nice and younger.

I agree you look fresh, glowy. I haven't had a facial for about a year but plan on going soon. I go to a esthetician school which is cheaper than a salon and they always do a fabulous job. It only costs around $25.00 Canadian, Scientific Marvel Schools

WOW! your face looks great. Facials are the best. I especially love the neck and shoulder massage.

You're face looks very fresh. I've never had a facial done at the salon.

I looooove getting facials. I need to go back to the girl who does mine so I can get the deluxe facial with the peel included for free. My face looked and felt soooooo smooth and nice after that.

Oh me too,!

It makes me feel so graceful and youthful. LOL. The last time I went into the spa to get a facial, I was pretty blunt and made no bones about why I was there..I said "Look, I need to look ten years younger". What was funny was that I really did look ten years younger when I came out. Damn, that was so cool. And I love the product line they used. !QMS. I get them done in Austria.
