A big problem for people who suffer from acne is that some don't know that there are make-up and skincare products out there to make acne better and not worsen it.

Make-Up that i've found that is excellent for acne skin and rosacea prone or sensitive skin is COVER FX. Originated from sunnybrook hospital in toronto. This make-up comes in different foumulas; cover fx complete coverage cream spf 30, natural fx liquid foundation spf 15, powder fx mineral powder foundation and mineral fx lose mineral powder foundation. they have a setting powder that sets not only there make-up but also other foundation brands as well. They have matte fx (3 shades of blot powder), which i use the dark one for my bronzer. I find these also work well to set make-up. These products are non comedogenic and have been tested extensively for problem skin types. thye come in a variety of tones and colour family's so you need to test them out to find your skintone. The complete coverage cream contains an spf 30 and the liquid foundation has spf 15 so theres no need for a separate sunblock.

Physicians formula is also a great brand for breakout prone skin and sensitive and red prone skin. they have a variety of powders blushes bronzers eyeshadows eyeliners and liquid make-up.

*Remember mineral oil and lanolin are a big cause for acne because they clog the pores. As well they have been known causes for allergic reactions.

*I would like to clarify something. dont' think because it says oil free. It's oil free. you cannot make a cream without oil. Oil free means that there is less than 30% oil in it. There are some fluids though that are extremely light in texture and they can be oil free. Non acnegenic or non comedogenic are good to look for when buying acne prone skin products. Everyones skin is different people can breakout to things that they are not supposed to breakout to. It's all trial and error.

I have oily, acne prone skin. I use Revlon Colorstay foundation and concealor.

It does not meake my skin break out, doesn't cause my skin to be oilier either.

And it has SPF so I don't have to worry about sunscreen.

I have the same exact skin type, and ColorStay works perfect. It's a little hard to remove sometimes, but other than that it has perfect coverage if I get a breakout.
