Got my hair done and MOP "haul"

Today I got my hair done! I think the last time I had it done was six months ago. I love my hairstylist so much! She used to live in the unit above me, and she has almost the exact same hair type as me. I feel like I can really trust her with my hair. But anyway, I was tempted to go really dramatic and short, but I just had two inches trimmed off and I got more deeper layers. She also introduced me to the Modern Organic Products brand. I think I'm in love!! This might replace the Purology stuff that I've been using. MOP seems to have a wider variety of products and more specialized products. I took home a bottle of styling tonic because I wanted her to get some commission. I'm going to look for the rest of the products at one of those wholesale beauty supply stores, but the stuff is a bit pricey.

Anyone else use MOP? What do you think of the line? I'm a little worried that it won't look so great when I try to style my hair myself.

Hi Suzuki... :icon_smil! I`m sorry, I have not tried MOP, but i have heard that it`s a good line. I wanted to try it though, but they don`t sell this brand in the Netherlands. Oh, and also i`m glad to hear that you have a great hairstylist, cuz just like you`ve said, it`s all about the trusting, and that can be very diffucilt. About styling your hair, maybe if you`ll practise alot then the styling will get better and if you still will have problems, than maybe you can ask your stylist to show it step by step. I promise I'll get batteries for my camera tomorrow!! I'm reading mixed reviews about MOP. Everyone seems to like the products, but maybe they're all turned off by the price. One of their lines, the C-system, comes in all orange bottles. The ingredients are supposed to be all organic and natural, and I think my stylist said that the shampoos don't have any sulfates.

I have used mop products. I like the shampoos and conditioners. I also have some of the c-system products. The spray pomade and c-curl. I like the c-curl, but I have to be careful not to use too much because it is heavy and my hair is very soft and fine. The spray pomade I wanted to like so bad. It has a nice smell and I want what it says it does which is weightless texture and separation but it just makes my hair look greasy.
