oh I´m sorry! I never saw any redness in your FOTDs, your skin always looked so good.

I´m sure there are skincare products that work pretty well if it turns out you really have rosacea. Some pharmcy brands (Eucerin, La Roche Posay) have their own rosacea-lines that are supposed to be pretty good

Yeah, what Arielle wrote - I always thought you had such lovely, creamy skin from your FOTD's. Either way, whatever the doctor tells you, I'm sure it'll be manageable. Crossing my fingers for you!

Thanks girls, usually when I do fotds my skin is calm and the mineral makeup seems to calm it down too.

I went to the doctors and hes given me some tablets for allergys in the skin and if they don't work I have to go back. Hopefully they will

x I havent seen any pics of you without MU but it doesn't look like rosacea from the pics... Maybe a pic without mu would help.

Rosacea can make your mid face red, you can also have some telangectasias and some cystic formations (like acne), and you feel like your face is flushed/hot, especially after drinking hot beverages or eating chocolate for instance. Do you have any of that?

, I haven't started the allergy tablets (from the doctor) but I will tonight. I always have blotchy redness on my cheeks though, I don't know if its cos I'm very pale and any skin problem is noticed easier. Just want it to go cos its so horrible when both sides of your face go red and it feels like your face is burning :|. x

Since you feel it burning it could also be a mild form of rosacea or an allergic manifestation as well. Could you post a pic without mu?

Have you been to a dermatologist? My husband suddenly developed a very, very mild case of rosacea within the last six months, or so. He uses Metrogel. I think you have beautiful skin, Katie. I'm so sorry to hear about your discomfort. Hang in there, sweetness!

Hi xkatiex, i see you went to the Dr's about your skin. I hope that the tablets you got will help and stop the redness. It could be an allergic reaction..has this always happened or has it been a recent thing? It really could be an allergic reaction and even here in Scotland we have very high pollen counts (yes even when it rains). Good luck and hope you feel better soon (((hugs))).
