Glycolic gel from MB

So I've been using Mario Badescu's skin care now & love it. I was breaking out really bad, it's starting to ease up a bit, but I got some glycolic gel to help speed up the healing & scar fading process. It says to put it on at bedtime & wear it overnight. I got it yesterday & did it last night & this morning when I woke up I was SUPER oily!! I was just wondering if this is normal or if it's gonna end up making me break out even more?

Whenever you start a new line of skin care,you will usually break out.Its not because of the products though,its because the products are working. All the impurities under the surface of your skin are coming to the surface,and thats a good thing.Once its all out you'll be good to go. You should always give it a few weeks.As for the oily skin in the morning....thats normal during warmer weather.Maybe try using less.

well the weather here has really cooled down the past week or two so it's not because of that, & even in warm weather I don't wake up with an oil slick on my face normally, so I know it's not the weather.

so does the same go for the MOM I was using under my MMU? it seems to be making me break out......is that normal at first or is it just cloggin my pores? How do I know the difference?

If it's continuing to break you out I'd stop using it. If you break out a little then it clears up, that's okay. I have used a Glycolic acid product and I don't recall it making me really oily. If anything, it was the opposite.
