Fungus infection

i'm having fungus infection on my forehead, eyelids and neck, after a month of frustration i went to my doc and she told me to use this antifungus cream called "ketoderm". i've been using it for 4 days, twice daily, but my skin doesn't seem like it's reacing to the medicine, i mean it's kinda spreading and it's not getting any better. they are still red, flaky and itchy just like before. does it really take a long time for it to get better or maybe it's not fungus infection? your answers are highly appreciated!

I'm so sorry, that sounds awful. Did the dr say what caused it?

Why did you wait a month before going to the dr? Is it not very bad? Have you ever had anything like this before?

Sorry to ask so many questions, but I had a weird rash on my chin/cheek and I thought it was from using the phone at work. I cleaned my work phone w/ alcohol and the rash went away.

i thought it's eczema.. so i just kept on lotioning it. she didn't say what caused it, she just took a quick look and told me it's a fungus infection and gave me the prescription. i've never even heard of fungus infection before! i was all grossed out when i heard it. anywayz, thanks so much for being concerned!!

oh is it like ringworm? That will take a while to get rid of, in four days I don't think you'll see results. keep up with the medicine

I'd also keep up with the medicine for at least a week before deciding it's not working. Sometimes those things take time to show an effect.
