I don't wear perfume often, but would like a couple more scents to switch with. I am not that familiar with the shelf life of fragrances. Would it be bad to buy full sized for occasional wear? Should I just stick to rollerballs and minis?I noticed at Rite Aid yesterday all of their fragrances are 50% off. Most I don't want (they stock a lot of junk), but I saw a couple I might want.

I dont see any harm in getting a full size for occasional use. I have a couple I dont use often, and they've been fine for years :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I prefer the full sizes, they're usually the best buys. If I saw a rollerball for a perfume I love at a bargain I'd pick it up for my purse but wouldn't pay full or close to price. Minis are way overpriced & not worth it in my opinion.

It all depends on how much they were.  I will buy full size because they have the best looking bottles.  As long as you store them in the cabinet where they are not exposed to direct sunlight (like on the window sill) then they last years.  It also depended on how they had stored it as well.  If their storage was too hot, that'll change the perfume too.  If you love it and you know you are getting a good deal, then buy it.

I have about 8 full size bottles on the go right now.  I love them all but I usually only wear my 3 faves.  When I decide I'll never wear that particular one, I'll pass it down to a friend or my daughter.  She loves collecting them.

Full size bottles. As long as you keep them away from heat and light, they're good for years.
