i've never heard of that before! sorry i'm no help. hopefully someone will help.

I've heard of them. Obviously it works for some and not others. Some say you can put some tape over your wrinkles (only if they are caused by expressions) while sleeping so as to train your facial muscles not to make such big movements, and so relax the wrinkles.

Frownies and wrinklies! A 1950's form of botox. From the Vermont Country Store catalog? I bought some for my sister as a joke one Christmas. Unfortunately, for them to help me, I would have to wear them all day at work!

I tried them for a few weeks, but had trouble keeping them in place all night. Then, I left my box on the bathroom counter & my steamy showers made them all stick together. Be sure to keep them in a try place!

jeez, haven't you girls ever read "Valley of the Dolls"????? I stole it from my mothers book shelf, it's where I learned about sex, drugs, and yes- frownies!! Quite a change from Nancy Drew, that's for sure...

You stick them on your face, usually when you are at home and not going anywhere, and they are supposed to remind you to keep your face relaxed, the gist being that "frowning" and other natural facial expressions cause lines..if you "frown" while wearing these, the triangular points will actually "stab" into your skin, reminding you to relax your face. I can't see the point of wearing them while sleeping, since that's the time our faces are most relaxed.

I had a sample pack; they did work, at least temporarily.

I tried them for about a week. I have a huge deep wrinkle between my eyebrows from squinting for 34 years. The wrinkle would be gone or very shallow until at least lunchtime.

I guess if you wear them religiously for a month or two the wrinkle does relax. It worked for me (and I have no boyfriend to see it at night) so I'll probably buy a regular pack soon.

If I had to have my picture taken or had a formal occasion, I'd definitely use them as much as possible, especially the night before.

I have used them for about 5 yrs. People have told me I look 10 yrs younger than I am, and I don't have a line on my face! I got started on them by my Aunt, who swears by them. Some people on here are a little confused though. They do not stab into your skin, and they are not to remind you not to make expressions. They actually re-train your muscles to lie flat again. Muscles have memory, and you are in essence reminding your muscles (not yourself) to stay flat instead of in the groove called wrinkles that you get from making expressions. They are very simple to use. Wash your face, put on your moisturizer (let it soak in about 10 mins) smooth out the line and hold it apart while you apply the patch. After you wear them about 3 days, you won't even notice they are on! Best investment! They are cheap, all natural, and REALLY work!

The only time I've ever heard of frownies has been in the phrase, "Looks like someone's baking a batch of frownies!"   Hahaha!
