Frankincense was prized by the pharaohs as an oil of wisdom, a treasure more valuable than gold. Its powerful, sweet and woody fragrance is still used in temples and churches.

I love the way it smells! Many years ago, I used to have a perfume called "Incense" by the clothing designer Norma Kamali - and it was made from Frankincense and Mhyrr. I have to admit - I liked it - although it was a very "different" kind of fragrance. Very heady and strong - but it reminded me of church incense - and I liked it. You wouldn't smell it on everyone.

Description:

The second in the signature Norma Kamali fragrance collection. Incense is the more masculine scent that is a straight single note representing an incense that reflects the combination of frankincense and myrrh but more and in only one note. Bold and powerful. Men wear this scent on its own but when layered with the Norma Kamali perfume a third more provocative scent is created for both Men & Women depending upon the ratio of Perfume to Incense.
