Formal make-up and hair advice please :)

Hi everyone,

Basically my formal is coming and I need advice on how i should do my hair and make-up.

Here is what my dress looks like,  , it looks kinda dull here, but it's a cream with gold patterns and the bow has really sparkly silver and gold sequins..It's kinda loud, i guess..

I've got long black hair and this is how i look like, except my face isn't always this skinny..I wish it was though.  Anyway, if you have any tips on how i should eyeshadow/eyeliner and my hair. Please share, I'll greatly appreciate it, I have no idea where to start.. Thankyou xx

Keep it fresh and simple. Your dress has a lot of bling and is quite pretty. Maybe a champagne or nude shimmery eye, with eye liner to define and mascara. Blush and a light lippie and gloss. I love the idea of putting hair up, like the sock bun method? Elegant and totally appropriate for a formal. The neckline and adornment on the dress straps is visually interesting, so you don't want to detract from that.

What a pretty dress!

You should keep your makeup clean and fresh looking with a pretty lip gloss. I love your hair if you were in my chair I would pull the front half up and leave the back down in curls.

that is a pretty dress!!!!  I would put a little curl in my hair and put it to one side.

Then for make up.... I'd do a natural smokey eye with a bright lip gloss color to make it all pop!
