Does it reduce the appearance of these type of acne scarring:

Ice pick scars - Deep pits, that are the most common and a classic sign of acne scarring.

Box car scars - Angular scars that usually occur on the temple and cheeks, and can be either superficial or deep, these are similar to chickenpox scars.

Rolling scars - Scars that give the skin a wave-like appearance.

Thanks =)

interesting..i have no clue though. i still can't figure out which type i have. hopefully glycolic can treat all types of scars..

yeah hopefully, mine should be arriving this week. and i'm doing my microdermabrassion every 2 weeks and will be doing a glycolic peel once in between those 2 weeks. =)

Glycolic will help but probably not as much as you would like...it can't get down deep enough for the pitted scars. You need to go to a doctor for that and basically have your top layer peeled off....I've seen that done...eewww BUT, it worked for the person. She had it done while getting breats implants so she was out, I would assume they would mostly knock you out anyway but not sure.

Glycolics are really nice and they help with the acne scars and discoloration, as well as bring a really nice glow to your skin. They also help with big pores.

I use MD (Epidermx or a new one I found, don't know the name) twice a week and glycolic once or twice. I love it

I use glycolic peels and found they help with red marks/discoloration and skin tone, but not for ice pick scars. I have small icepicks and didn't see any difference while using the peels. But to my surprise since using Silkia camellia oil 3 months ago, I swear my icepicks are more shallow and pores are more refined. I use Epidermx too and do it once a week. I use the oil 2x everyday.
