So I have a bunch a bunch of flyaways.

I know my hair is a bit damaged I've dyed it more than a couple times so I tend to get alot of flyaways and it really really annoys me.

I usually use a bit of hairspray and it keeps it down for a short time, then its back again.

Anyone know a product that will help to keep them down after I do my hair?

John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Serum works for me just start at your ends and move up to the roots, it works wonders and you only need a little bit.

Serums are the best. Just make sure you use a light application so your hair's not greasy

I also agree with using a serum.

What about rubbing a Bounce sheet over hair that becomes fly away?

I've used the fizz ease hair serum, and pretty much use a serum everyday after I take a shower and do my hair. And I've been doing it for years, but it doesn't work with the fly aways.

But I never heard about the dryer sheets...hmm I might have to try that.

Dont go with a serum.....you need something like a light pomade with a tiny bit ot hold otherwise it will go down for about 20 mins, then the flyaways will be back up again. Try Rusk Define pomade....works wonders

haha seems like every solution doesn't work for me, I've also tried the redken pomade didn't work either. =(

Try the one I suggested, I don't think you'll be dissapointed!

I personally find a serum is awesome for flyaways, the pomade idea sounds pretty good too.

Hairspray sometimes can make it worse if you hair is dry since they have alcohol in them. Some really nice ones that work are:

Dove Therapy Frizz Control Taming Cream

aveda anti humectant pomade

Aveda light elements serum

Cibu Sashini

original vo5 hairdressing. the one that comes in a little tube. it's been around forever, but it really works to seal down and keep down flyaways. the charles worthington line of haircare at walgreens also has a version of the vo5 hairdressing in a lavendar colored tube that smells much nicer than the vo5.

If you know of a salon (or online store) that sells Tigi products, they have some good ones. Their S-Factor line has a product called Smoothing Lusterizer that is really nice, works quite well. Also in the Bedhead line, which is cheaper, there is one that is called Smoothing Stuff. It's apparently for blondes (in the Dumb Blonde line) but I don't see why it wouldn't work for any hair colour - I'm a brunette and I've used it and liked it.
