I need to find a shampoo and conditioner that isn't going to weigh my hair down, yet be gentle to color.

I have used Dove, Aussie, Garnier and they just don't work like they used too. My hair isn't real dry so I just need a light conditioner.

Can you recommend a product line that will works good?

Thanks!

I love Matrix Amplify hair styling products.

Particularily the volumizing mousse (it has a light scent and it doesn't weigh your hair down, it's also not sticky--if you ask me that's a plus!)

Matrix Amplify Volumizing System Foam Volumizer 8.5 oz.

Also recommend the Matrix Amplify Root-lifter

(use this when blowdrying your hair for extra fullness)

Matrix Amplify Volumizing System Root Lifter 8.5 oz.

I yet to try the shampoo/conditioner however, I can't really tell you much about that (sorry)...

But I'm almost certain products are more effective when used by the same line.

Also check out the Big Sexy Hair line.

(Again, I've yet to try their shampoo/conditioner, but I think their hair styling products work nicely!)

I would not recommend Amplify. I was told by several stylists that it has drying ingredients that will make your hair dry. Not sure if that is true or not. Have you tried Biolage?

Honestly i like Herbal Essence Conditioner for Color Treated Hair. Its light and leaves my hair fluffy

Thanks for the great suggestions, I did actually buy some of the Herbal Essences for the color treated hair today so I will see how that works. I haven't used Biolage in a while maybe I will try that again.

I have the same problem and the stuff I return to again and again is Aveda Rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner. Its texture is sooo light, but it really does a fantastic job of moisturising your scalp, and leaving your hair soft and tangle-free

Another good one also is Charles Worthington Dream Hair, the conditioner is a spray on one and is mega light but makes your hair REALLY shine!

I just heard recently to not apply conditioner to your roots cause it weighs it down. I still do it cause I don't really like my hair poofy.
