I REALLY REALLY hate shaving my arms+legs, lol... so what wax/hair removal creams do you all use?? and which is better, a cream or a wax and why?

I don't like creams because sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, sometimes it burns, other times it's fine...they're just too fickle for my skin.

I like to use a sugar wax. Many waxes wont wash off. So if you make a mistake or have some residue left on your skin it can be a pain to get it off. With sugar-based wax (or sugaring) it washes off with water.

The pioneer thinking website has a sugar wax recipe (ingredients like water, sugar, honey, lemon).

None. I've tried Nair and Nad's and both of them are horrible! If I could afford laser hair removal, I'd do it! At least get my pits and upper lip done.

Me too!!! None of the creams do anything for me. If i could afford it, I too would get laser hair removal

I hate those hair removal creams!! First of all they stink and my hair still grows back in 3 hours, I might as well just shaved!!!

So give me a wax anytime I can take the pain!

Well I've only used one kind of wax.

Works fine for me.

Zip wax is the only wax that really works for me, and I have tried many. I keep coming back to Zip. It is sooo not glamorous, and it smells like a pine tree taxi cab air freshener, but boy does it get all the hairs.

Oooh, I forgot to mention that I also have the Braun silk epil epilator, and that works pretty well. I just have to be diligent about exfoliation to prevent ingrown hairs. I actually like this better than wax because it doesn't make a mess, and if I've had enough depilating joy for one day I can quit at any time.

well, i use to wax but i've been kinda lazy, i started using a hair removal cream from veet, you can get it at walgreens or rite-aid. and i love it. very easy and (all of) the hair comes off in only 3 mins !! it comes with a rubber scrapper, no blades. but hair does grow back faster than waxing.

ive been looking for the wax that doesnt need cloth?! you just let it dry and pull it off?! where can i get that stuff?

i call the epilator the psyco freakin tweezin machine LMAO it has a rotating thing that has about 30 or 40 tweezer heads and you just go over the hair and it pulls it all out. i actually use it on my face. it works really good. but you gotta get over the crazy spinning thing!!! lol

I'd LOVE to get laser hair removal! I liked epilating, because my hair is soo much thinner, a lot of it never grew back. The thing is, I'm too lazy, it's too noisy and takes too long, so I shave. Occassionally I epilate.

I prefer cream than wax because I find wax is messier and harder to use.

pink your gonna get 800 todat arent you?!?!?! lol i use the epil in front of the tv. and my dad and bro would walk in and ask me to stop the lawn mower. lol its very loud.

sugar waxing is great! i make my own!!! epilating is torture, my mum does her underarms with that thing, she's a crazy lady!

I have used most of the hair removal creams available in the market and crotex gives the best results. It got rid of my unwanted hair permanently.

Hair removal creams will only remove the hair from above the skin. Waxing removes hair from the root by ripping it out much like you'd rip out a weed from the grass. There is also bleaching creams which of course lasts until your hair starts to grow out and is replaced with new hair.

I use GiGi stripless wax since you apply, let harden and remove with no need of a muslin strip.

A friend of mine was saying that her mom had used a depilatory cream had burned her skin and it permanently got rid of the hair.  If you google Crotex, it claims to PERMANENTLY and

remove hair to never grow back.  Instead of depilatory that eats away the hair at the skin's surface, it affects the root and the whole growth cyclee I of the unwanted hair.  Interesting... not heard of it til now and maybe I'll give it a try if my No-no fails to deliver. ...or maybe I won't.  That cream costs $560.00 USD!!! (I put the .00 so you know I didn't make a typo)
