I need something to feed spots that were left behind from hormonal pimples....what do you guys reccommend? I need something that won't 'bleach' my skin persey but fade the spots and even skin tone

Retin A will fade acne spots over time and keep your skin tone nice and even.

You need a prescription, $30 a tube, should last 6 months.

Start at a low dosage and gradually increase as your skin adjusts.

I've heard of some girls using peels for this... Might sound stupid (and since I'm not "hip to the jive" on acne, it might), but have you tried Neosporin or anything like that? Andi just mentioned in a thread she's thinking about trying Mederma.

thanks

i've started using an over the counter fade cream that seems to be working...we'll see how that goes...my dad's a pharmacist...maybe i should ask him...but he never likes prescribing stuff like that for me

which cream are u using? I have the same problem and have been using the ACV toner which is helping

My dermatologist makes his own hydroquinone 4%, which is truly the HG as far as fading spots. Regarding OTC products, I've tried University Medical Acne Free (a 3 piece set available at any drug store or Wal-Mart).

I hope this helps............

Linda
