Facial?

i went for a facial today.. oh god.. I HATE extractions... they hurt SO SO much.. but the results were so much worht it...

but the thing is... MY SKIN IS SO SO SO SMOOTH! blackhead free and hydrated..

no exfoliator could do this.....

what gives? do you like facials? how many time do you go for one?

I love facials. i've never had one involving extractions though.. ouch. This thread makes me want to get one, I love being pampered!

I use to get facials every two weeks (because of my acne) ... but the extractions really scarred my skin so i stopped going... Now i just give myself a facial every once in a while! I usually use honey... makes my skin really smooth!

I've never been for a professional facial.:sadno: I want to soon though. Steve said he'd give me a "spa day" for Christmas last year and I'm still waiting!!! lol...

I have never had one done professionally however I do my own at home. I open my pores with a warm face cloth then apply a mixture of brown sugar, ground oatmeal & honey & just apply that to my face. I keep the mixtue on for 20-30 minutes then wash off & pat face with cold water to close the pores. I swear by this recipe..........feels heavenly especially when I'm stressed.

I've never had one done, but want to. There's a beauty school near me that does facials for less than $20, do you think it's ok to go there??? A friend of mine went & said it was great, but she's never been anywhere else for a facial.............my stepdaughter works at a spa/salon & says the school would be the same thing so I should do it...........

what exactly are the extractions for??? acne?

extractions hurt so much! but they help remove blackheads, white heads and all those gross stuff under the skin where we cant reach ourself

I went a week ago and the worst part is the extraction. I end up with scars and tiny bruises, but after it heals, there is a noticable difference in my skin.

I go about once every 10 days or week, and I agree it's so painful /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> It's very much worth it, but, for the smooth blackhead-free skin.
