So I'm almost done with my clean & clear sensitive skin foaming face wash and it always takes 2 washes to remove my makeup. Are there some recommendations out there for drugstore cleansers that removes makeup better than this (not washing cloths)?

I'm also considering pond's cold cream, I'm not too sure what it is but I've heard many good things about it. However I also believe it's made from mineral oil...

Do you use a makeup remover before you wash your face? There isn't a single face wash on the market that can completely remove liner, mascara, or long-wear lipstick.

Personally, I use Neutrogena's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover and then wash my face with Neutrogena's Oil-Free Cream Cleanser. Sometimes, there's a few traces of liner left but I just run my cotton ball over it one more time and I'm good to go.

You did post it, and I moved it to Skin Care. You should've received a PM about it. I'm merging this thread with it.

I don't wear long lasting makeup and I don't wear much eye makeup. Only liner and shadow some days so that usually comes off with cleanser anyways but it's the foundation and my oily skin. Whenever I cleanse, the first time, the cleanser doesn't lather because of my oils (it removes the oils and some makeup) then the second wash actually lathers and leaves my skin clean.

Hmm...I don't know what to tell you...sounds like you do need to try a new cleanser. You also might try lathering for a little longer; I wash in concentic motions for thirty seconds and it gets my face really clean.

you could try a remover or wash you face twice. i use aveeno to get me makeup off and follow and dermalogica special cleansing gel. i follow that with a toner to make sure i got it all!

I have makeup removing wash clothes but I only use those if I had a late night out and just wanna climb into bed. I'm trying to find a do it all cleanser which most likely doesn't exisit.
But! I found clean&clear makeup removing cleanser (which i have never seen before until I went on their webbie. It has good reviews on MUA but the first ingredient is Butylparaben. I don't know the effects of parabens, but I heard they are bad and that's why I use mmu.

I like the Neutrogena One-Step gentle cleanser, but it's for drier skin. I use 2 pumps. It doesn't lather a ton, but it totally gets my makeup off, except for stubborn mascaras/liners.

I use Lancome eye & lip makeup remover for eye makeup, and foaming cleanser from Clinique (the pink one)

I used Pond's Cold Cream before discovered my HG makeup cleanser. It was really unpleasant for me to slather it on, wipe it off and have a hard time washing it off; however, it does work well to remove all your makeup. So if you can put up with it, it works well.

I use Kanebo's Naive Facial Cleaning Cream and it removes my makeup in one wash. It's hard to find though; I bought mine from a Korean store nearby. Maybe you can find it online somewhere. It works very well for me, but I guess how well it works depend on how much makeup the person is wearing.

I use an eye makeup remover for eyes, then I wet a wash cloth to wipe my face with.I wear MMU so it comes off easy. After that,I use my cleanser, wipe it off with wash cloth, rinse, dry and then use toner. The toner will get what the cleanser left behind while closing your pores back up.Next is moisturize and then eye cream.

I love Pond's Cold Cream for removing makeup, have used it for years. It removes everything, so gentle and cheap as well.
