Here i would like to talk about eyelift gels that everyone from the girl in the office to celebs use if they need it or if they have had to many late nights.

Ive noticed that some of the eyelift gels, eye creams offer a firming effect and then there are other;s that have much more drastic results like eyessential.

Eyesential is better for actual bags under the eyes. I sometimes use my eyelift gel if ive not slept or am looking really rough (too many late nights) in combination with other products, or if i am going out and making up big time!

I recomend anyone with darkness under the eyes try some kind of eyelift gel as this helps make it less noticable. Just thought ide share this tip with you ladies. Also keeping it in the fridge keeps it lovely and cold.

[thanks for that tip Pauline I'll certainly be trying it,I've tried everything for bags under the eyes am currently using Origins No Puffery which is so so, tell me more about Eyesential, have not heard of it here in NZ.

Hi Kiwikid, I have't actually tried the Eyessential one myself, but my Mother sometimes uses it and she loves it.The only cons are that it can dry up quicky if it's not being used. Another good make for women over say 50 is Genie. I have tried the Roc eye cream when ive been tired and have a night out planned. Some are stronger than other's but i find the Roc one to be good enough when ive needed it.You can buy eyesential from one of the shopping chanels and ive seen it on ebay. I can't say i recall seeing that particualar make on QVC. I just know it's good as ive seen my Mother and her friends use it.

Hi Pauline, I read your reply to Kiwikid and I think I did see Genie on QVC but it is not one of those things that they keep all the time. I think I saw it during one of those beauty special shows where they bring in special products. Maybe she could call their customer line and find out if and when they carry it. I have heard mixed reviews on it. I use the Insta-tox from Serious Skin Care on HSN on my puffy eyes. Just don't use it until the end, like mix with foundation or undereye concealer if you use liquid makeup. It doesn't really hold if you put cream of any kind OVER it. I use mineral make up and mix some with my primer before foundation and PAT it on LIGHTLY otherwise you end up with a white film. Stay motionless for 2 minutes till it is dry and then I dust my powder foundation over. It has been reveiwed by magazines and even "The View" as one of the best AS LONG AS YOU USE IT RIGHT. You just can't put any liquid or cream over it. some people say they lightly tap on makeup over but I didn't have success with that. Also check around, there are other tightening firming gels out there including Eyescentials which I haven't tried yet but would like to. Good luck! Chermarie

Hey Kiwikid! You could look on QVC.com online and maybe you could find something there, I think they may have the Genie product, also they have online help that will let you know if and when they carry it. HSN.com carries the Serious Skin Care Insta-tox and you can buy that online anytime. The Perricone stuff is EXTREMELY expensive

and I don't know that it works any better than others that cost less. But definitely check out Sephora.com for all brands of products and the prices. Check the reviews on this site and see if anyone might have tried some that you might be interested in. I remember finding one in the drugstore that actually worked REALLY well, it was by Sudden Change. It was for the lines and puffiness around the eyes. It really made my eye area smooth and it was less than $8.00.

Imagine that! I found another at a beauty supply that worked well and was very inexpensive. I don't remember the name but it came in like a lip gloss tube and was a turquoise gel. I know that Benefit (at Sephora.com and some dept. stores around the U.S. or look up Benefit Cosmetics) has a product called Ooh-la-lift
icon_wink.gif
that comes like a tube of gloss with a wand applicator and it supposed to firm and lift the eye area and brighten. They are a good company and most of it is not pricey at all. They are very affordable. They also have some very unique products, like one called She-Laq that makes ALL your make up (lips, eye color, liner, mascara and brows all with one bottle) waterproof and non-smudge. I love a lot of their stuff and they have fun names. I hope this helps. Hopefully you can get those online web sites, especially Sephora because it will allow you to check around and see what is out there. Good luck! I hope you find a good one! Then let us in on it!
