Okay so in class today we were learning how to dye the eyebrows, when someone said, "Im gonna dye my eyelashes!" That doesnt sound so safe to me, to have hair dye that close to your eyeball? What do you guys think, and has anyone ever had this done? I dont think I would do it, I've got sensitive eyes....

I am with you on this one. I alos have senstive eyes.... it stings to put on make up sometimes... so this is not for me.

I had this done two weeks ago !!! and i have to admit My eyes where Itching me for a few days but after that it was Okey I like the result But I wouldn't do it AGAIN

I haven't done this but sounds a bit dangerous. Im just wondering, I saw that Revlon had this eyelash tint that stays on for 3 days and makes your lashes black, does that work?

don't do it yourself, go to a salon. They have proper eyelash tints and it's safe.

I like the result of eyelash tinting as it gets the bottom lashes nice and dark and I don't have to use mascara on them. But you still need mascara on the top lashes.

I don't think I could do this. It just doesn't seem the safest thing in the world, only to get tinted eyelashes. Not worth the risk to me.

Well, the girl had it done and you cant really even see it, but oh well. I cant tell a difference anyways. They said that you would have to do it a couple of times before it would show up really good. THEN it would fade after a little while.... so I think I would rather just put mascara on every day :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

im ok with mascara, cause if something happens with the dye, yeah, i like my eyes the way they are.

I would rather just put mascara on. I don't want to risk blinding myself with chemicals like that.

I agree, that doesn't sound too safe (or smart). It is possible to dye artificial lashes before you attach them. This said, I have never seen anyone do this, probably wouldn't look too good. If you are keen on mixing up your cosmetics routine, why not invest in some funky mascaras? The always look great when applied to natural lashes.
