I got some eyelash extensions done and I love them, but is there any health risks involved with doing this?

There are indeed some health risks like any product that is of a "permanent" nature. If you plan on getting this done you have to get it done by a professional LICENSED cosmetologist or esthetician. Do NOT get this done by anyone unlicensed much less untrained. The glues used are suppose to be toxic free however there is some concern that some glues used are not toxic free. I haven't done more research other than what I've read in pro magazines but as I said if you plan on getting this done go to a licensed and trained professional.

My younger sister is wanting to get lash extentions done.

As with any product there are potential health risks involved, but seeing as how you have already gotten them done, I would say you are in the clear.

The risks would be associated with the application process as opposed to wearing them. (Unless one was to come off and get into your eye, like any eyelash. Then you may have red or irritated eyes, watery eyes, and the chance of scratching the lense of your eye. But that is a risk with your natural lashes as well)

I would love to see some before and after pics if you have them.

Doing eyelash extension is good.

But it may or may not suits you skin.
So before going for eyelash extension check its reviews and ingredients.

So that you should know about the result..
