I wasn't sure where to post this, but figured it had to do with hair.

The problem is a scar in my right eyebrow. When I was younger, I was hit in the face with a softball and my glasses cut my eyebrow. I didn't have stitches, unfortunately, so I have quite a scar. Here's the mess.

I've struggled a lot with shaping my brows as my left eyebrow is full and my right sparce. My left eyebrow is also higher than the right. I have recently been trying to grow them out, while trying to keep them shaped, but tonight I was just too frustrated and plucked away! I'm mad at myself now.

Anyway, my question is what to do? I know the verdict will probably grow back and go to a salon but I guess I just need to hear that.

hmmm. That's a tough one. I get my brows done usually by a salon, and really, they are fabulous - they can fix HEAPS of things. You could ask them to reccommend an eyebrow pencil so you can fill in gaps as well - I use one because my eyebrows are sparse towards the nose - dunno why :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Seriously though, it changes the way your whole face looks if your eyebrow waxer is a good one. It's magic!

Actually, your eyebrows don't look bad to me, just like they need some cleaning up. I would suggest that you go to a pro if you don't really know where to start. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hi! I actually have an eyebrow scar too! Mine is on the outer half of my left eyebrow. (it happened when my husband graciously began opening a door for me-- but I was already opening it myself and it whacked me right on my eyebrow).

Anyway-- it's nothing huge-- just slightly more sparse in that area than my right brow. (I should post a pic so you can see). But this is how I handle the situation:

-I take care of plucking any stray hairs

-Then I fill in the area with matte dark brown L'oreal eyeshadow (Wear Infinite in Deep Mocha-- our coloring is smiliar so it might work for you too) Use it very sparingly-- I use the side of the applicator it comes with so not too much product goes on)

-Then use a clear brow gel to tame it all-- I think it also helps with the staying power of the eyeshadow powder because I NEVER have problems with it wearing off!

We kind of have a similar situation-- so I hope my tips might work for you! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
