Nothing is going to erase them, but what have you tried that at least made them look better? What works? What doesn't work? ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm not looking to invest my kids lunch money for the year, just something I can pick up at Target.

Thanks!

Hi There,

I really like this stuff made by MD skincare called lift and lighten eye cream, I have little fine lines, I guess what you have before you get crows feet, so I'm hoping to fend those off for as long as possible. I have oily skin though, so I have had trouble with other formulas. This one works really great though!

Thanks, Kim!

Got confused at both sites...notice neither site wants to specifically recommend a product for the eye area but I'm going to order some samples anyway!

I'm not sure what emu oil is, but I did order a sample of it while I ordered a sample of supercop 2. They suggest you use the Emu Oil prior to using supercop, to have the supercop absorbed into your skin at a slower rate. Thank You Naturally for telling us about these products. Can't wait to get them in the mail!! Leslie:icon_lol:

There is nothing really once can do about it. It's genetic, and one can add layers and layers of mosisture for it to improve. There is no such thing as a miracle cream. So even putting in vasline can make the biggest difference.

You can't get rid of wrinkles but you can slow time and lessen their appearance....first of all, get out of the sun!!! Wear sunscreen religiously!

Invest $10 in Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic acid lotion or gel, and use it everynight after cleansing - I have used this product close to my eyes with no problems but be careful, its probably not reccommended. Just pat a small amount lightly around the eye, but stay away from the lower eyelid.

I am a former sun and tanning bed idiot, and have alot of sun damage. I started using this product about 10 years ago and have seen very little aging in my skin since then. Just try it, its so cheap!!! They have a creamier version for dry skin too. Oh, and did I mention to get out of the sun??????

Good to know about the Alpha Hydrox! I will have to try that. I definitely agree about the sun. That and having the kind of smile that causes my skin around my eyes to crinkle has led to wrinkles and lines for me. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

One other thing--I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this yet--but Retin A is great once you get past the side effects. I can't use it right now (when you have babies and breast feed it's a no no) but I used to use it and it was a big help.

Kim, I wish you would give us an Idiot's Guide on how to do this. I know you use lots of exotic sounding products (exotic sounding to me anyway), and I'm not sure what's best for what!

Oh my gosh, an Idiot's Guide to banishing/preventing eye wrinkles is a GREAT idea! I know I sure need one - trying to figure it out on your own can be so frustrating when you don't even know where to begin!! Please do one!

kim- what exactly are the names of the products you are using and what are the average prices? my simple routine w/ a glycolic acid product has worked wonders on my skin, but I still have the smile lines around my eyes- which, by the way, don't really bother me, it's the dead dull older skin that I don't like. I'm going to age wether I like it or not, I would just like my skin to look as fresh and smooth as possible. I don't mean to disagree with you, but I don't believe wrinkles can be completely gotten rid of, not even with retin-A.

I had a friend who had $15,000 worth of dermabrasion done to her skin for acne scars and sun damage etc and even THAT didn't get rid of her wrinkles.

So please - what is it that you are using?? Besides emu oil. I stay away from animal products, and would rather keep the wrinkes than put that stuff on my face, but I'd like to try the rest.

thanks

Jennifer

I just ordered some Emu oil (yes, it's refined and certified) and am ordering some Super Cop today. It's nice to know the Emu goes on last for that "PUSH". In learning how to be a chemist (lol - that's what it seems like sometimes), I realize it can sometimes be a matter of sequence that makes the bigger difference or what not to combine with what because they'll negate each other. Ok, where's that Idiot's Guide?

Kathy

thanks Kim- I'll check it out- I guess it's only sold online. I understand nothing works overnight. I was patient w/ the Alpha Hydrox 10% glycolic and after a few weeks to a month I started seeing results.

I have a question....I heard AHA only works for so long and then you have to stop but no one is clear on what to do next- do you just take a break from it and then go back a month or so later or do u have to stop using for longer or possibly forever? Should you substitute something else during this break from AHA's? This is why I'm looking into other products....does anyone know what I mean or what I should do?

Thanks for all that great info Kim! Maybe you can ease into Project Idiot's Guide by doing some skincare tutorials. No reason why MUT should only have makeup tuts! I've been lobbying for hair tutorials too...

Just a thought! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
