Im 22 Right Now And I Was Told I Have To Start Wearing Eye Cream, I Have Dark Circles Under My Eyes And Im Always Rubbing My Eyes Which Is Not Good Either.i Was Just Wondering What Eye Cream Do You Use And What Does It Do For You?i Use To Use Origins Eye Doctor, It Was Ok I Wasnt To Crazy About It.

under the eye is the only place on face that has no oil glands so that part tends to get dry. undereye cream helps keep that part moisturized thus helps to ward off wrinkles

I'm 19 & have fine lines under my eyes. I did attempt to 'correct' this by using eye creams. But eye creams only made me have more oil seeds(mila) around the eye area. Besides, when I use them overnight, they tend to make my eyes puffy in the morning. I have stopped using eye cream in the evening, I use Preperation H(it is said to treat & prevent fine lines but I have yet to see results) & in the mornings, I still use eye cream as I have no choice- it adds as a base for my concealer. Thinking of switching to an eye gel though...

I think that you get milia when an eyecream is to rich for you. So you have to choose an eyecream that is hydrating enough for you, to get rid of the dryness, but it should not be to rich either. And to make sure you dont get wrinkles it would be better to use an cream with sunscreen in it also.

I'm in my 20's too and I started using an eye cream a few years ago when I noticed that my concealer was really hard to apply during the winter months. I wanted something moisturising, but also to help diminish puffiness that I get sometimes... foolishly, I thought that an eye cream could reduce dark circles as well - they can't! An eye cream can either 1) reduce puffiness 2) moisturise/ reduce fine lines. I truly believe that dark circles are a combination of genetics, nutrition, sleep habits, hydration, exercise, etc.

I started out using Biotherm Hydra-Detox, which did nadda. Then I switched to Clinique All About Eyes, which was pretty good for puffiness. I used that for a bit but felt that it wasn't hydrating enough, so just last week I switched to Clinique's Daily Eye Benefits. It's been good so far - very hydrating and a great base for my concealer. I've also heard good things about MAC's Fast Response eye cream especially for puffiness. My good friend is an esthetician and she says Dr. Spiller Eye Contour Cream is really good. Dr. Spiller is a salon line: http://www.dr-spiller.de/engl/hauptindex_e.htm

Here's a great link to browse through the multitude of eye products on the market, it's insane!

I agree with Kim - you're never to youg to start using an eyecream.

And yes, milia can be caused my a product that is too rich for the eye area.

Also, another thing to remember when applying eye products, is to use them on the bone area, and not near the lashes or on the eye are itself - this can cause puffiness.

I've tried a few eyecreams and am currently using one by Carita.

The Decleor Hydrafloral eye cream is a good one to start with as it is a light texture and is perfect for younger skins.

HTH!!

Has anyone tried Dr. Brandt's eye cream (I think it's the RP3 cream). I saw him recently on a morning show (Today I think?) and he was so convincing that his products were top of the line. Right now I use a line called PCA skin. I'm undecided about it. It doesn't protect against sundamage. Right now, I just use my tinted moisturizer with spf 20 on the eye area, so I make sure to put to keep UV rays in check.
