Well it's that time of year again and i'm in full exam revision mode and i'll admit it, i've let myself go!

I'm hardly sleeping, am very stressed and very nervous (can you tell?) and am constantly rubbing my eyes. Which all means i've got dark circles and the skin around my eyes has gone dry, flaky and gross.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an eye cream to help with the texture and dry skin under my eyes, that isn't too pricey and is available in the UK? Also are there any tips to help with dark circles under your eyes like supplements, eye creams, diets etc?

Thanks x

I'm having the same kinda prob, my eyes look like shrivled up things lol. I've been using emu oil but that hasn't done anything... its fine on the rest of my face. When I use it on the skin around my eyes it won't soak it up it just seems to lye there. I also have dark circles which makes the problem look worse. I've attached a piccy... I don't like using heavy creams on my eye area as my skin is soooo sensitive, any recs? x

I did watch something on tv the other day that recommended using Vitamin C capsules on your face to brighten the skin etc but i'm not sure if it would be too greasy under the eyes. I'm thinking of trying The Body Shops vitamin C eye gel to help with the dark circles and as its a light gel, fingers crossed it won't be too greasy but just enough to hydrate the skin around my eyes. Its fairly cheap at £8 and at this point i'll give anything a go! Old lady eyes at 18 are never a good look!

How has emu oil worked on the rest of your face? I read in a magazine models use it to keep they're skin plump and hydrated but wondered if it made your skin greasy or break out?

Fingers crossed for both of us that people will have lots of suggestions and if i find anything that works i'll be sure to let you know x

Can you get Mary Kay in the UK? Their Timewise Age Fighting eye cream is very good. Clinique's All About Eye cream is also great.

I've never seen Mary Kay in the UK but im sure i could find a website that sells it. Is it expensive?

I love emu oil for my face, I don't really get pimples only one now and again on my chin lol. A breakout for me is when my skin goes blotchy but emu oil never ever does that, its a great moisturiser

YES! Mary Kay is in the UK... check out marykay

However, I would recommend the Timewise Eye Firming Cream instead of the Age Fighting Eye Cream. Only because the firming cream offers just as much age fighting benefits, but also adds a firmness. The US retail for that is $30. Best of luck!!

burts bees has this awsome thick eye cream i wear at night or when my eyes are just really dry that works wonders. its like $8.

has anyone had any luck?

my eyelids are SUPER dry...and FLAKY it's so gross and my regular eye cream is NOT helping!!

I really like Juice Beauty's organic Green Apple Nutrient eye cream and Smoothing eye concentrate

Are you sure it's not eczema?

MAC Fast Response Cream works well for me... Although, I don't use it on my lids...

i ended up putting on vaseline before i went to sleep..and my eyes are cured!

Have you ever tried KORRES eye and face creams? They are all natural products and my skin loves them, although it is very sensitive.
