Hi Guys, I have eye bags under my eyes. It's because everyday I sleep late :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Is there any fastest way to reduce it? I used to try putting cold cucumber on my eyes, but I wasn't patient enough to do that everyday ^^; I wouldn't want to put make up to cover it either, because I can't apply any make up

and I think they're getting worse now...

Have you tried any eye creams designed for reducing under eye puffiness? MAC Fast Response is good. Some mornings I just put an eye mask on (the kind that look like Zorro). I pop it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to cool, and then I wear it for 10-15 minutes. It definitely helps! Mary Kay Indulge Soothing Eye Gel is good too!

First, change your sleeping schedule so you get better sleep. Second, if you don't want to do the cucumbers, try the chilled eyemask like Aquilah suggested. Or, in a pinch, splash your face with almost ice-cold water, then run your hands under the water and press your cold fingers lightly against your eyes. It's worked for me.

i can't change my sleeping schedule ^^; it's a bad habit, but I love it *sigh*

hmm.. eyemask sounds good :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> and that ice-cold water sounds good too. I'll try both

I hope I'll be patient enough to do those

Just so you know, those are only temporary solutions - by not getting enough sleep, the bags could potentially become permanent. You could always sleep in late, if you don't want to give up late nights.

Can anybody recommend an on-line place where I can buy those eye masks that look like "zorro" :)

Also Carrie from Sex and the City used to wear them

Thanks

I have heard that excess salt intake can cause bags under the eye.

Maybe your dr can explain further or help with your diet if you think this might be true. Good Luck.

Try using tea bags or a slice of potato at least 10 - 15 minutes daily.

If you don't have the patience to do that, then I can only suggest you to change your sleep pattern and get enough sleep.

I've heard Leony's teabag solution works great...Origins also makes something called De-Puffery eye gel that is good.

Try using an eyecream like Clinique's, its suppose to depuff and reduce under eye circles.

Just consider yourself lucky that you don't always have dark circles, like me. Oh, and apparently a cold bag of peas works to reduce puffiness? Just one of those really weird things.

i used to work graveyard shift, so this was always a problem for me. splash cold cold water on your face to help. also put metal spoons in the freezer and when they are cold, place over your eyes for a few minutes. this will shock them a bit, but it helps. the #1 thing you could do (i swear this works) is to sleep with alot of pillows so you are almost sitting up. this way, the fluids never get a chance to build up around your eyes when you are sleeping. let me know if this helps. good luck and get better quality sleep girl!!

I just recently bought Origins No Puffery b/c I heard good raves about it on here. I've only had to use it a couple of times but it did seem to help. I keep it in the fridge.

I definitely will try the spoon stuff... but the sleeping with lotsa pillows? ^^; I think I must get myself used to with that.. :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> thanks for the suggestion anyway
