So since summer is right around the corner its time to shed all the fall and winter skin.

I love summer and its a wonderful time to show off your natural beauty, but what is a great product to have smoother sexier glowy face and legs...or shall i say entire skin!

I use one of those exfoliating gloves (with a body scrub or regular creamy body wash) for my body.

On my face, I use chemical exfoliants (corrently a moisturizer with 2% salicylic acid), alternating with Retin-A. In all those prior years of using face scrubs, my skin has never had the kind of glow that Retin-A gave me! I use face scrubs very very rarely now and I have to say I don´t miss them at all as I found something way better

I use black soap and a body brush for my body.

For my face, i use a facescrub, my actual scrub is the chocolate mask from Themis.

This is a great question! I use Neutrogena Naturals Pore Scrub and Burt's Bees Exfoliating Body Wash. I'm always on the look out for new exfoliators.

Heres what I do.

What you will need:

carrot juice

sea salt(if you have oily skin if u have dry skin DONT USE SEASALT)

Brown sugar or reg sugar if you have dry skin.

honey

So take either the sea salt or brown/reg sugar (about 1/4 of a cup) and put it in a bowl

then put two teaspoons of honey in and mix it until its a paste.

then put a half a cup of carrot juice in and mix it all

add extra sugar or seasalt if it isn't grainy enough to put on a clensing pad

after put a little on a clensing pad and scrub your face. leave on for five minutes and wash off with a mild clenser with warm water then pat your face with a rag that has cold water on it.

after pat your face.

Credit to Michelle Phan because I just watched that video XD

- I tried it yesterday and it is amazing your could see your skin glowing the first wash!

- Sorry, this is the last post from me XD but you can use it on your body also. just don't put it on sunburn and if you are going outside right away apply sunscreen because since you have ll of that dead skin off it will make you face/body burn easier

I consolidated your posts.  You can always go back and edit your posts if you forgot something or wanted to add something (its the button with a picture of a pencil).

I use a sugar, olive oil, honey and lemon scrub. Then top it off with an egg white mask. Perfect pores and no acne anymore :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Also works great in lightening up my freckles.

I was thinking you can also use a brightening serum, something that evens your skintone. The moisturizers or masks for dull skin can also work, for example pink clay is quite good to get a more "awake" face.

So am i every time a new product comes out im like " i have to buy it!" But i will look out for the Burts Bees is there only one exfoliating body wash??

Reija,  I just bought it!  I am hoping it works out well.  I am trying to branch out from my usual Origins, Modern Friction scrub which I absolutely LOVE....but I am committed to trying other brands and being open minded. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

For my body I use exfoliating gloves with a moisturizing body wash and once in a while I use REN Guerande Salt Exfoliating Body Balm on dry skin. On my face for the moment I use Fresh Soy Face Exfoliant twice a week, and on my hands I use Sally Hansen Manicure In A Minute Hand Smoother once every 2 weeks.

I use the Clarisonic with whatever gentle cleaner is my at-the-moment fav. However, prior to the Clarisonic I just used a gentle cleaner and washcloth, then while skin is still damp, applying Cetaphil moisterizer. It's essential to apply it while skin is still wet (not after patting dry).

If I want a lot of "glow," I'll apply Lorac's tantellizer (sp?) on my legs, shoulders, etc. where I want more of a bronzy glow.

Here's my scrub: rice powder (you can replace with green bean powder for detox purpose or soy bean powder. To make the powder I just buy rice/green beans/soy beans and grind them in a blender till they become smooth powder. I make alot of powder and store it for later uses) + freshmilk + honey (not compulsory). Then I use this paste to scrub my face and body. Smooth glowing skin and 100% natural.^^

Great info. emerald! I will have to try this. Awesome!

I LOVE Befine's Exfoliating Cleanser. It's all natural and works GREAT! I love how the brown sugar "dissolves" as you are using it, kind of preventing you from over-scrubbing!

On my body?  I love Avon's foot scrubs.... especially the Mojito Lime scented one. It's gentle enough to use everywhere on my body, not just my feet. And it smells super yummy!!

I no longer use a facial scrub for my face. I use Bare Minerals facial cleanser (a powder) but don't recall the new name it's been repackaged under. On my body I use an apricot scrub and a scrub brush.

I use the classic St. Ives apricot scrub on my face and on my body I just use my loofah sponge. I don't feel clean if I don't use it...
