Ew, ew, ew!!!

Okay, so I decided it was finally time to use toner again. I'd used one in the past, but quit for reasons I can't even remember. Who knows! So, when I was in Wally World today, I picked up Clean & Clear Cooling Toner.

Can I just say "EW!" I definitely should've been using one all along. To see how much ick was still coming off my face AFTER cleansing and using using my Microfine Refinisher... Blech! I most definitely, definitely, definitely will be using a toner from now on!

Yup, face cleansers just dont cut it

I prefer to use astringent, cause my face is oily, and it helps to dry it out a little.

Well, luckily my face has knocked off w/ the excessive oils. Although, it could've been me just simplifying my routine too. I used to be pathetic and apparently used one too many products, or one product too many times in a week.

maybe that's why, casue I use more than one thing on my face at a time and hope for the best!

I used to use MK Microdermabrasion 3 times a week, and a scrub 1-2 times a week. Washed daily, and used my eye cream AM and PM, as well as a facial cream. Now, I just use MAC Microfine Refinisher on Sundays, eye cream in the AM (MAC Fast Response), and facial cream. At night I just use a lightweight moisturizer, although I should probably be using eye cream at night too. Toner will now be used nightly, and I use the same cleanser day and night.

I use witch hazel which I purchase at my local drug store. Works good for me. Also main ingredient used in most toners.

ii also use the toner and i have also noticed that my red marks on and around my nose have gone!!!

I use nivea visage young cleanser and toner but use clean and clear moisturizer

I use Clinique's toner #3 and it's almost pure alcohol.. but it works for me. If I stop using it I break out. That thing always makes the cotton pad come out black, it's disgusting but I love to use it knowing it's getting all that crap out of my face.

but thats one thing i dont listen to them about.

i use clinique's toner #2, have for years and i love it.

I use a witch hazel mix with tea tree & a few other essentials. Love how it cools my face in the summertime. Its nice to close the pores after steaming & masking.

I can't go without toner. Without it your face looks dull. With the toner, it gives you a clean even look, not to mention the stuff that is on the cotton ball when you take it off. Yuck...hooray for toner..

Is Clean & Clear and other toners containing witch hazel similar to Clinique's Clarifying Lotion 2? That one really CLEANS my face

Lol yeah that Clinique toner it's serious stuff, like you have to make sure you don't inhale when putting it around the nose it's pretty strong haha. But it's the only thing that works for me, I bought one from Lancome without alcohol and I hate it. It's like water with lotion inside, I don't know it doesn't take dirt out of my face or anything and I started breaking out without the Clinique.

Wet N Wild toner over here.

Switched from Neutrogena's one (which was too strong and dried my skin out loads) and I've had very few pimples now.

If I skip my routine and not clean my face - I'll break out again.

After my cleanser and exfoliant - the cotton ball still picks up dirt with the toner. And I rub until the cotton is white
