I have a remington one, it works great for me, and the hair doesn't grow back until after two or three weeks

It hurts at first but after a few days you get used to it, and it stops hurting, its worth the pain though, the area where you use it is usually hair free for more than two weeks so it saves you the hassle of shaving with a razor every two days or so

yea i suppose i'll get used to it just like i got used to waxing, but when i think of the hair being pulled out one by one it remidns me of tweezing which does hurt alot and scares me. *sighs* i'll have to get over my fear sooner or later though :p

Well, a good tip on using it is, you can do it after you have a warm shower OR you can soak your legs in warm water for a little while so that your skin pores open, that way it wont hurt as much

Thanks for the tips Nuri! I'm still in the dark ages I guess using a razor! LOL...

I have a braun silk epil. Don't think it's on the list, it's about a year old now.

It's good in that some of the hair it removed has never grown back, but I never got my legs as smooth as with shaving. Plus, I liked to do it when I watched tv, and the sound annoyed my mum so I hardly use it now, LOL. Stupid reasons but hey!

I don't have one, but I think I'm going to have to ask for one of these for Xmas, LOL. They look great.

Gosh this sounds painful. Has anyone here tried laser hair removal instead? I'm considering it, but want to make sure it actually works!

I have the Braun silk epil. It has the massager attachment so you can get used to it. I don't use the massager part anymore. I have not had a razor touch my legs in about 2 years. I wouldn't use anything else, but alot of people do say it hurts alot.
