I have got me some emu oil today, but I would like to know if it can darken the skin where you apply it. I am asking this because I had read it, but don`t know if this is true?

I use emu oil a few times a week for the last couple of months and I have not noticed any darkening. I hope it doesn't because i really like to use it the first couple of days after I do a glycolic peel.

If you get a good quality pure emu oil, there shouldn't be any color to it when it's applied.

I mean on the bottle it says, but how do you know if it is true? The mine is regenic pure emu oil and the ingredients are: emu oil, rosemarinus officinale, tocopherol! Is this good you think? Thanks anyway, bye

And somewhere else I read that it can darken, dark circles if you have them and also if you have vitiglo or something, it will make it darker. So if it can make vitiglo darker, then what will it do with dark spots!!! I

You just have to make sure you buy it from a reputable and reliable company...I used emu oil before, but I stopped because it started to freak me out when I thought of what I was applying on my skin. I know I researched different brands before I bought any, but I don't remember which one I went with...I know it was an Australian company.

I've never heard of that before. I have emu oil from the uniquelyemu site and have never had any problems when I apply it to my face. My skin did not darken. My emu oil is refined because it says it on the bottle.

I got mine from the platinum skincare site. Its odorless and coloress but if its in a cool place it can thicken a bit and look a bit whiteish in color in the bottle but when it warms it thins out again.
