Emu oil skincare?

has anyone tried this or know of anyone who has? I was wondering about any thoughts or opinions on it? Is it as remarkable as the claims are? TIA:biggrin:

Nope, i've heard it works a wonder for dry skin and stuff!

I heard it's pretty pricey though!

If you end up buying let us know what it's like as i have eczema and am always looking for a cure!

I've used Emu Oil before and I liked it, you only need a tiny amount because its very moisturising.

I'm not a vegetarian or anything but I can't picture myself putting animal oil on myself. I do use other oils though...jojoba, coconut, avocado, grapeseed, apricot, olive, etc on my skin.

I have heard about emu oil but never tried it. I have very minor eczema and camellia oil has been helping.

I use emu oil on my face at night, just a tiny bit. It goes a long way. Also on my scalp in the winter, if it gets too dry.

I was a little skeptical at first after hearing the claims. But I had a chemical peel/microdermabrasion that left me burned on my forehead and near both eyebrows!! I had the peel/microderm on a Thrusday, Friday morning the areas were scabs. Went to the natural store and started using the emu oil Friday night. By Sunday morning the forehead scab fell off without any scaring and by Monday night the scabs around my eyes were gone too. Not a scar in sight!

Well I've got a fantastic story first hand to tell.

I had it in the house for my son's ecema. It cleared it up in like a week. He'd used steroids, pills, ointments everything but this oil completely cleared it up in no time at all.

Well, so my mother came to visit and had broken her foot and came down with rheumatoid arthritis. Her hands and foot was really badly scarred and bruised and her dr. had told her that the scarring on the hands would most likely be permanant. Not so, she "copped" my son's EMU oil and used it. Within a few weeks all of the scarring was gone.

So I didn't see her for like three months, when I did I was floored. Her face looked ten to fifteen years younger I kid you not. It was smoother by magnitudes, firmer, and just looked unbelieveably better. I'm still tripping over it. I told her how amazingly different she looked and she said the EMU oil is the only thing she had been using on her face since she left my house. Since then she's completely and totally sold on it. Since then so am I. Now my husband uses it too based on the amazing transformation that it made with my Mom.
