Do you know exactly what this product does?? I heard at the site that make pores look smaller, but I don't know if it's worth the money! Where exactly should be applied before or after moisturizer?

I used that stuff and I like it but not much though.

They claimed that it'll make pores smaller and smooth with seamless feelings which are I agree though, but the price is expensive. If you only want to make your pores look smaller, you might want to try using lotion toners. There are also many pores minimizer out there that worth enough and not that expensive as idealist.

IMO, Idealist is good only for primer base makeup but not for long lasting benefits for skin. And I think it contains silicone? Maybe I'm not sure though.

Thanks Leony!!! He he you saved me some money!! Really it contains silicone?? I think I broke out from silicone!!

I want to buy a moisturizer since mine is over and I wonder if I should try this product instead of a moisturizer, but now maybe I won't!!

Save your money for this kind of high-end skin products Soph!

You are still young, and you don't need any expensive skincare products to care for your skin.

I was young and stupid without knowledge of skincare, and I went look for moisturizer because of the cold season made my skin dry before, so The EL sales girl offered me bunch of skin care products which are I think now I didn't really need the stuff because I was only 21-22 y.o at that time.

I keep purchasing the product because it did make my skin feel smooth but only for a short period of time lol.

I also didn't have any pores problem, or any other skin issues though, I don't know why I keep purchasing it lol.

I guess, I'm an easy person to seduce lol.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing! I think at the age I am there is no need to use lots of products, a moisturizer is enough for me!! I'm not sure when is the right age to start using more, like a night cream or an eye cream and things like that!!

I think you need an eye cream Soph, to avoid fine lines under eyes circles. It's better to prevent now rather than curing later. What you don't need is expensive anti-aging/treatments products.

I started using night cream moisturizer and eye cream in my 21 Soph because of dry and cold season made my skin a little bit dry and I don't want to get any wrinkless in my 20's lol.

You won't see the result now, but you will in 3-5 years.

LOL, I used ROC before but now am running out of eye cream so I'm trying SHU new eye cream samples. I'm not sure yet which brand of eye cream I will purchase, I need to read more good reviews first :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Before you find your eye cream, you can just use your regular moisturizer for the eye area, BUT that only if your under eye skin is not a sensitive type.

I agree, it's more like a primer, cause it contains a lot of silicons and makes the skin feel temporarily very smooth, but in the long run it doesn't really do much, I think it's a waste of money:)

For making pores smaller and evening out the skintone I would rather recommend Effaclar K by La Roche Posay, or some other acidic treatment. I heard Paula's Choice are good ones, but I never tried them:)

Thanks! I have to check out this Effaclar K by La Roche Posay! It contains silicone?

I liked the way Idealist made my pores looks and it made my makeup go on a lot smoother however it broker me out. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20"> Must have been the silicone. I don't know.

I'm not sure, I don't think so, Effaclar is an acidic treatment , but a gentle one, it is recommended for acne prone skin, but not only, I have combination non acne skin and this product improves skin tone. here is more about it:

seems like im the only one raving about idealist here. i LOVE it. it smooths my skin, makes pores smaller and has a fresh scent that makes you feel clean. i have never had any breakouts from it, but i also have quite nice and even skin though. aaand, it is kind of a primer too. its good as a base for everyday make-up, though if you want the whole up-done make-up look you should wear a real primer.. idealist is great, and yes it is expensive, and i dont have much money, but your face is worth the money. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
