Hey guys, i heard that you can exfoliate your skin (even your face) with a little bit of baking soda and cheap unscented body lotion. I like it and it works for me. More ideas are welcome

I think that adding a little baking soda to your face wash would work better... The face wash will remove the exfoliated skin when you rinse vs a body lotion which would seem to me to tend to push it into your pores..

Personally I go buy some pretty smelling exfoliant at the store... I'm just too lazy! lol

I agree, baking soda works very nicely on your face, sugar is too coarse. I use a cream or gel cleanser to combine it with. Other cheap solutions, although i do not like them as much is using coconut (shredded) or powdered almonds. I heard you can also use strawberry seeds.

I don't like using regular (white) sugar as a body scrub, but brown sugar is softer and works good.

Personally, I just use my loofah.

I use lemon juice and sugar. Just squirt some lemon juice on a cotton pad, top it with sugar and rub all over your face. The lemon juice is a natural exfoliant like a light chemical peel. It leaves my skin SO smooth and smells great too. :]

hahahahah @ those gadgets .... thanks guys but no thanks i'll pass

One detail i'd like to add is lemon is great indeed, but if you have a sensitive skin, don't use too much.
