I have a problem. As it gets colder, my skin gets drier. My problem is that every cream I have tried has caused an allergic reaction. My skin gets even redder and I get a rash. Does anybody know of a good non allergenic skin cream?

do you know if there's a specific ingredient you're allergic to?

the best thing you can use is pure shea butter. it moisturizes and as it is a bit greasy, it also protects your skin from the cold. you can also use vaseline, but usually i prefer using it at night as it is greasy and takes time to be absorbed by the skin.

i also suggest you try a "cold cream", personnally i think it's a great cream against dryness, especially during winter.

When my daughter was born the hospital gave us Eucerin for her skin. I'd try that. If it's gentle enough for a newborn I'll bet it would work for you! hth

I use a cream called diprobase... you can use it whenever and wherever and you can use it as a soap...but it doesnt smell very nice

my friend has a severe skin disorder- psoriasis, and she absolutely LOVES Korres Yogurt Cream. on the cheaper end, i use Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer when my skin is acting up.

Those are some great store brands and very affordable. My shins get the worst dry skin...especially if I dont shave everyday. It sucks
