I have very dry skin on my face and I can't seem to find anything that works. It is also so itchy and flaky especially around my nose and forehead area. I am currently using Sheer Cover and it doesn't seem to be working either. If anyone has any advice or suggestions for me please let me know I am going crazy here. Thanks

Try a little bit of vaseline at night. Several others on this forum use it and it works quite well. hth...

sheer cover all together sucks, i think. i had a customer come in with the dryest skin and she was using it, as well, and she said it started when she started using that makeup. is that the case with you?

what kind of moisturizer are you using? i have very dry skin and have to use thicker creams. i like creams from the shiseido line, philosophy's when hope is not enough and dermalogica's super rich cream. i also heard good things about Squalane Oil.

when my skin was in bad shape before, i use concealers as a foundation because its doesn't dry my skin out like foundation. right now im using bare essentuals foundations and also lumiere's (another mineral makeup co.) flawless foundation which is for normal to dry skin.

you should wash your face with your regular face wash and then rinse it off..and then put vaseline all over your face while your face is still wet..and scrub it.

I do this whenever my skin gets dry and it seems to work fine. So goodluck!

It sounds like something is causing it to irritate.

I would also suggest a change of brand.

though do try to have a few days break between

brands.

try using a gentle exfoliator to remove all the dead cells, and then apply vaseline. you should also change your moisturiser.

i would also suggest Aquaphor or just plain vaseline at night. almond and olive oils are good too. use a gentle cleanser, eucerin has one that's very good. or try neutrogena's extra genle one. good luck:)
