I've never really had problems with my skin, it was always comfortable and never really prone to blemishes. I usually get oilyness in my t-zone and it doesn't bother me that much, but on a part of my nose I have like a scaly/dry patch but it's still oily *confusing, I know*

I also have dry skin on my forehead now and it looks really bad under make-up :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Any skincare routine suggestions? I don't have one,

I have combination skin (dry cheeks, oily tzone) but it becomes more dry in the colder months.. It's a good idea to exfoliate your face skin. It helps remove the dead layer and your makeup will go on smoother. There are varities of exfoliators in stores, but make sure you use one made for the face and not the body. I have sensitive skin and use RoC Gommage Douceur. It's a creamy exfoliator that is gentle. After exfoliating I apply a thin layer of moisturizer.

Also a room humidifier during the colder months helps.

I hope this helped! :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My skin does that too, during winter i simply manage it like a dry skin. Scrubbing is a good suggestion, i can also suggest Korres thyme honey facescrub, gentle but effective ! I'm currently using the face moisturizer of that line, and it works beautifully for my skin.

You can also try to spray some water (floral or thermal) on your face before applying your moisturizer, and during the coldest months i also use a hydrating serum before my moisturizer.

Moisturizer can help you for dry skin problem. As this problem is just new for you i think you should eat oily food and fruits. You should do regular exercise.I think Yoga will help you for that. You can also go for massage.

Like you, I have dry skin on my forehead and also patches around my nose. I've been applying bio-oil, but really any easily absorbed oil will do, right before makeup application. Also using a moisturizing finishing spray helps the makeup look more natural over dry skin. Sometimes I use fix+ and sometimes I use a rosewater and glycerin mixture. Glycerin is the key ingredient in both of these products because it helps to keep moisture on the skin.

I also spot treat my dry patches the night before with Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour cream or you could just use Petroleum Jelly. (The Eight Hour Cream is 53% Petrolatum) You could use the eight hour cream before makeup as well.

If you have combination skin, definitely feel free to treat each part of your face accordingly. You can apply a thick moisturizer on your forehead and not on the rest of your face if you don't need it.

I hope this helps. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hmmm is your skin always dry? Or just recently? The cold weather could be part of the reason, I always battle the "oily, but super dry" skin on my forehead during the winter

But SalonClearwater is right too, regular exercise is a great way to help maintain great skin. I recently learned that moving actually improves skin health and tiny blood vessels, which helps with blood and oxygen flow. Fun fact, physical activity also helps produce collagen too. I know Eucerin has some moisturizers that are especially good for the winter months (I do some work with them). Hope things clear up for you!!
