For some reason my skin seems to be flaky today. Is it good to use a moisture lotion or cocoa butter?

Depending on where you live, you might need to change your skin care regimen based on the seasons. I've noticed my skin in general tends to feel drier in the fall and winter, but not as dry in the spring and summer. It might be worth it to look into a heavier facial moisturizer.

The best skin secret has and forever will be a good nights sleep, exercise, some sun and good healthy diet of vegetables.

It's true. Exfoliating is the best way to get rid of flakes. If you moisturize you will just moisturize right over the flakes!

Hi,

If you're talking about your body, here are some things you can do:

1) When drying yourself after showering, do not rub your skin with the towel. Instead pat dry with a towel leaving your skin slightly damp.

2) Then apply your favorite body lotion. Wait 2 minutes before getting dressed.

This technique helps to lock in surface moisture into your skin.

3) Exfoliate twice a week. On these days make sure your lotion contaIns a SPF of at least 15.

4) Keep your body well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

Hope this helps.
