Ok guys I've heard a lot about DR.Murad's acne complex kit and have never used it before.. Has anyone here tried it? What kind of results,if any did u see?

Hi there, I have the kit and absolutely love it, the face wash leaves my skin feeling sooooooooooo fresh and the cream is very good too, not to mention that I haven't had a brake out since I'm using it (fingers cross)

wow..i might buy it...does it dry out the skin or cause or redness? bc usually i have a problem with having realy dry skin (esp. since my skin naturally is dry to begin with ) after i use products bc of the ingredients.

I am also interested in this kit. I dont have alot of acne at the moment but I want to smooth my complextion out a bit more and prevent future breakouts. Would this be suitable for my needs as well?

i've actually tried this kit...i honestly got great results, especially comparing to proactiv! i stopped using it though coz i just keep looking for the best thing! im considering going back on it....you should definitely try it!

im gona go buy it to try..thanks guys! theres a smaller kit thats a lil inexpensive so ill try that b4 i invest in the bigger size.

It was the ONLY thing that ended my breakouts. I had acne throughout my teens, and I wished I had used it sooner. Now I have most of it left that I just use for P.M.S touch ups n' stuff.... you should definitely try it... I'd recommend it to anyone ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hi, I've used the Murad acne kit and it was absolutely horrible, atleast my experience was.....I used it for two months and broke out worse than ever. I'm not sure if there are other acne kits that Murad offers with a cream but i used the kit with the clarifying gel......They tried to tell me that with this gel kit you go through a "purging" process that lasts about 4 months, i don't think so! The gel was sticky and would catch absolutely anything in the air and suck it back into my skin, it was the CAUSE of my breakouts, just that gel......the cleanser is pretty good, but it's not as exfoliating as it says it is, in fact it hardly is at all.....if you want that cleanser to work great you need to wash with a cloth otherwise it's pretty much useless. Yeah you feel that "clean" feeling after washing it but that is just because of the salycilic? acid and other ingredients in the wash, just using it alone without a cloth is not going to "penetrate" your pores for a "deap clean" NUH UH. The moisturizer is alright, but it's pretty light weight, good for around the mouth and nose. I had also ordered the toner with my kit and that was pretty much crap, you can see the residue it leaves on your face, again it gives you that tingly clean feeling....but it's just layering crap on your skin to clog up your pores. It's pretty bad when you look at the stuff in the bottle and you can see that it's going to leave a thick layer, you can see that shiny rainbow tint you know....the spot treatment is okay, it's pretty lightweight. I stopped using Murad and i got my money back and ordered Proactive again. I had only stopped using the proactive before because they had really messed up my billing, other than that the product was pretty awesome, minus the toner......i wouldnt recommend the toner unless you've got really dry skin. I've been cleansing with a cetaphil bar, using the proactive repairing lotion and moisturizer and my skin is absolutely gorgeous, it's cleared right up after using Murad's products. I've also been using a clearasil vanishing cream 10% benzoil proxide for a spot treatment that litterally works overnight guys! atleast for me, i feel one comming on and i put a dab of that on over night....i dont rub it in i leave a dot of the product on the spot and in the morning it's gone. For scars both on my face neck and chest i've been using the Mederma equal the Equate stuff found in walmart, it's got some added stuff over the Mederma...the vitamin k and what not....it's moisturizing and light wieght, not gonna clog your pores. It says it's not intended to be used on open or healing wounds, but if you've got a popped cold sore or pimple around your lips or nose this is excellent to help healing because those pimples seem to scar the worst. That was my encounter and routine, I just wanted to add maybe this could help someone else.

i'm 47 and i use it once a day to help prevent breakouts and i love it. if you are any age and have acne-prone skin i think the murad products are great. i use the clarifying cleanser.
